S/S 1998 Christian Dior by John Galliano purple short sleeve jacket and lace maxi skirt set. Rare documented runway two-piece set. Short sleeve jacket with ecru lace trim and ecru floral pattern interior lining. Gunmetal-tone single front button closure with cameo portrait detail at center. Side slit pockets (not functional when worn). Fabric Contents (Jacket): 100% Wool with 100% Silk lining. Pairs with ecru fitted lace maxi skirt with high side-front slit and concealed side zip closure. Fabric Contents (Skirt): 90% Cotton and 10% Nylon blend lace exterior with 100% Silk lining. Rare set as seen on the runway from John Galliano's early tenure at Dior. Set is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note.
Measurements
Jacket is marked size FR 38 / US 6. Skirt is marked size FR 40 / US 8. Set overall best fits size US 4 (skirt is smaller in sizing than jacket).
