A/W 1987 Thierry Mugler 'Les Aviateuses' Collection black wool blazer and skirt suit set. Signature nipped waist blazer with three center-front circular fabric button closures. Features curved paneling at waist that adds contour to body and flap pockets (non-functional) at sides that emphasize hips. Curved stitching at lapels, wrists and at hemline add unique detailing to this special piece. Skirt is above-knee length black mini skirt with center back zip closure and two black snap button closures. Note that this set was curated by Tab Vintage as a suit set and was not originally sold as a set. This also was originally listed as a 'Menswear' blazer (as denoted by the brown tag), but has a unisex fit. Similar featured on runway. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout.
