A/W 1995 Maison Martin Margiela one-of-one 'Artisanal' pinstriped dress / maxi skirt. Below-knee wool dress composed of men's vintage trousers. Black dress with heather gray pinstripe detailing throughout, featuring concealed front button closures. Back has uniquely deconstructed design, with white stitched faux 'pocket' detail and silk center paneling with adjustable ties; tie wraps slightly at interior at back for wrap construction at back waist. Spaghetti straps can be styled at shoulders, or tucked in for maxi skirt construction (not as designed; potential styling alternative). Silver-tone adjustable buckle detail at sides of bust / hip. Similar rectangular white stitched detailing featured on the runway. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note, with slight wear as a feature of the vintage garments re-imagined into this extraordinarily rare, special piece. 

Best fits size US 4 - 8 depending on desired fit. Photographed clipped lightly on size US 2 - 4 mannequin, and clipped moderately for maxi skirt.
