1959 Carosa Roma iridescent blue-green taffeta strapless rose gown. Strapless with interior boned corset, full skirt with slight high-low hemline, and three-dimensional purple and green rose bows at front. Gathered, draped skirt design with trained paneling at back, creating subtle cocoon-like shape. Train has small finger loop for ease of wear. Fabric contents unmarked; feels like silk taffeta. Documented, rare gown in very good condition for age; has been taken to couture cleaner to restore to best possible vintage condition. Wear at flowers, spotting at bust and at interior corset, and overall wear throughout.
