A/W 2001 Alexander McQueen by Lee Alexander McQueen 'What a Merry-Go-Round' black gown. Cap sleeve v-neck gown with gathered ruffle asymmetrical bustier and raw fringe cap flutter sleeves, featuring asymmetrical 'slash' / pointed semi-sheer paneling from hip to hemline (harlequin-inspired). Asymmetrical zip closure at bust wraps across back and to front right hip (can be unzipped depending on desired styling). Fabric Contents: 925 Polyester and 8% Elastic blend with 100% Polyamide ruffle details. As seen on the runway (Look 42). In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout, including slight pulls (unnoticeable when worn) and re-stitched area near hemline (could be removed / segment could be shortened as desired with tailor).

Marked size IT 40. Best fits size US 6 - 10 depending on desired fit with moderate stretch throughout.
Pit to Pit: 16" lying flat (32" when worn); stretches up to 20" (40" when worn)
Waist: 13.4" lying flat (26.8" when worn); stretches up to 17" (34" when worn)
Hip: 18" lying flat (36" when worn); stretches up to 22" (44" when worn)
Length: 61.2" from shoulder to longest point of hemline; 30.5" from shoulder to shortest point of zipper hemline
