A/W 2004-2005 Alexander McQueen by Lee Alexander McQueen "The Man Who Knew Too Much" Collection RUNWAY SAMPLE silver lamé pleated cocktail dress. Cap sleeve dress with fitted waist and knife-edge pleating throughout. Internal boning with full skirt (built-in petticoat) and semi-open twist back that connects at hook closures. Fabric Contents: 53% Cotton, 33% Silk, and 14% Lurex with 100% Nylon interior petticoat. As seen on the runway on Heather Marks (runway sample), and featured on Caroline Trentini for the cover of Vogue Japan. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout, including runs at right side of skirt.

Provenance: runway sample from the Trino Verkade Collection, long time assistant of Alexander McQueen who inherited a large portion of the samples from the time she worked for him.

Marked size IT 42. Best fits size US 4.

Pit to Pit: 14.5 - 18" (29" - 36" when worn, with slight give due to accordion pleating)

Waist: 12.5" (25" when worn)

Length: 44" from shoulder strap to hemline; 32" from lowest center point of bust to hemline
