1998 Issey Miyake and Tim Hawkinson 'Guest Artist Series No. 3' rare Pleats Please pleated eyeball motif jumpsuit. A spectacular piece of wearable art, this jumpsuit is in a neutral tan and cream colorway with large, vibrant eyeballs printed throughout. Sleeveless, scoop neck design with drop waist. Due to the pleated construction, this piece can accommodate a wide range of sizing. Issey Miyake was inspired by Hawkinson's work on a visit to the United States, and the two collaborated on a series featuring prints inspired by Hawkinson's interpretation of his own body parts. As seen featured on the wall of Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art in Paris in 1998-1999 and in the LACMA. In excellent vintage condition with no flaws to note.

Marked size JP 4. One size fits most (US 0 - 20) depending on desired fit. Would fit 'oversized' on size US 0 - 8 and is photographed clipped on mannequin.
Pit to Pit: 15" lying flat (30" when worn); stretches to 30" (60" when worn)
Waist: 16" lying flat (32" when worn); stretches to 32" (64" when worn)
Hip: 17" (34" when worn); stretches to 34.5" (69" when worn)
