Resort 1978 Halston purple smocked top, silk skirt and stole set. Strapless purple smocked tube top with moderate stretch throughout pairs with full skirt with elasticized waistband and removable stole. Silk chiffon skirt has built-in side snap closures and single hook-and-eye closure at waist, with triple-layered construction that creates beautiful movement when worn. As seen on the runway as part of the S/S 1978 collection. In very good vintage condition with slight spots throughout (particularly on stole and skirt); has been taken to couture cleaner and arrives ready to wear.
