[RARE] 1968 Pierre Cardin purple midi dress with silver geometric cutout metal breastplate from the 'Space Age' collection. Sleeveless dress with medium-length center front slit. Highly coveted silver-tone sculptural breastplate features curved paneling across neck and large open cutout section in center bust. Signature Pierre Cardin futuristic design. Fabric contents unmarked; feels like heavy wool with purple lining. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout breastplate. Note that hook-and-eye closure has been added to right side of breastplate to adhere.
