More Information

Provenance: formerly part of the Loris Azzaro Archive, with similar featured on Tina Turner throughout the late 1960's and the 1970's. Tina Turner, unrivaled talent and a beacon of vivacious energy, has long captivated us not just with her voice, but through her iconic fashion. Among these are her ‘undeniably Tina Turner’ chain fringe dresses - a signature look that defined the 1960s and 1970s music scenes. These innovative looks were designed by Italian couturier, Loris Azzaro. He integrated the metal medium which had become popular in the 1960s mod movement with the fluidity of a woven knit. This had never been done before, and culminated into ensembles that were not only breathable and easy for the dazzling performer to move in, but also maintained stage-worthy excitement and sparkle.

In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout (one or two missing chains and slight wear throughout knit interior).

Best fits size US 2 - 8 depending on desired fit due to knit interior construction.

Waist: up to 15.5" (31" when worn)
