S/S 1993 Callaghan by Romeo Gigli ecru strapless petal net gown. Strapless gown with 'petal' silhouette upper bustier with built-in boning and draped deconstructed ivory netting at sides and back, layered over luxurious Dupioni raw silk fabric. Fitted waist with full skirting with moderate train. Pairs with separate interior semi-sheer nylon petticoat with short white lining, ecru draped swiss dot fabric, and 'horsehair' structure (can be styled with or without as desired). Net overlay of dress partially detaches with front button closures. Concealed back zip closure. As seen on the runway and featured on Christy Turlington for Harper's Bazaar January 1993 issue. In very good vintage condition with light wear throughout, including small seam split at interior lining (not visible when worn); has been taken to couture cleaner and arrives ready to wear.

Marked size FR 42. Best fits size US 6.
